A Guernsey knit for the first time in a while. I love how cute the oversized fit is!
A plain, dark navy Guernsey. I love the classic look.
There's no tag, but I'm certain it's from around the 70s or 80s. I've handled many of these over the years, and we actually had one in stock at TOTO once before.
I was looking back at my very early posts and it brought back memories. Haha.

1970's Le tricoteur wool jumper
I'm sure many of you already know this Guernsey, but let me explain briefly.
It's worn by fishermen; because it's worn in maritime environments, it's made of thick, high-quality wool and is tightly knit to keep out the cold, making it very warm.
And above all, it's easy to move in. I haven't worn mine much lately, but whenever I pull one out, I end up wearing it for a while. Haha.
Getting off track here, but because of their intended use, many of them are in rough shape, but this particular one is in beautiful condition. It's so clean I almost wonder if it's deadstock.
It looks plain at first glance, but if you look closely, the design is unique and cool.
Once you get to know Guernsey knits, you can spot them instantly.
Being able to buy such high-quality knitwear at this price is one of the best things about vintage.
It has been washed once.
