This is a Denison smock that was issued to the Belgian Army airborne troops in the 1970s.
It really is cool, isn't it! Haha.
It's similar to the British SAS version, but it's every bit as good.
The cotton material is fantastic, and look at this camo pattern.
It's a pullover with a great balance, perfect for throwing on loosely. The shape is excellent, and I highly recommend it for women as well.
There are four large pockets on the front, which are super convenient.
And most of all, the condition is outstanding. It’s a piece you’ll look forward to wearing and breaking in.
This is one of those jackets you really don't see anymore; I used to be able to find them here and there in Belgium, but I haven't come across them much at all over the last few years.
Above all, vintage military gear has wonderful fabric and design.
I imagine it would be difficult to produce clothing of this quality today.
It's a great size, it's weather-resistant, and it’s just the thing you’ll want to wear in the coming season.
