70s rare cotton riders jacket

70s cotton rider's jacket. Super rare!

Even cotton rider's jackets are a rarity, but to find one that's actually this old is incredible.

In the five years since starting TOTO, this is the first time I've come across one.

To be honest, at first I just bought it without thinking, thinking, "Oh, a cute cotton one appeared!"

It wasn't until my husband told me, "That is incredibly rare," that I realized it. Haha.

I was like, "Oh, wow, you're right. Now that you mention it, these really don't exist." Haha.

To find a rider's jacket in this color and material makes me so, so happy.

Lighter in both comfort and look than leather, this is the perfect, top-tier piece for spring.

Above all, the zippers are so cool. They're huge. The pocket placement is also perfect.

We always say that 70s rider's jackets are the coolest, and this just confirmed it for us again—that sense of style, and the way it just feels "right" when you put it on.

The cotton is that sturdy fabric you occasionally see in pants from the same era.

It’s hard to describe, but it’s a tough yet soft cotton with a surface that has a slightly brushed, plush texture.

The size is marked 44, which is equivalent to a women's XL or larger, but the fit and look weren't too big at all—it was a good feel. There's enough room to wear a thick sweatshirt underneath; even when I wore it over the khaki light jacket and SIMPLE MINDS T-shirt we’re also listing, it didn't feel tight at all. For men, it fits like a medium.

This is a brand I've never seen before, but it seems they launched as a winter sports apparel label.

Regardless, this is a truly rare vintage item. It's really stylish.
