It reminds me of that special Exquisit watch from last year—or rather, it's nearly the same design—and I'm honestly shocked to have come across it again.
Just like the last one, the design is truly, truly spectacular.
The generous matte 835 silver band surrounds the dial with the kind of cosmic, mid-century style curves.
I’m completely smitten by the mirror dial that reflects like a looking glass combined with the solid silver aesthetic. This futuristic vibe is right up my alley.
There’s a black line only on the second hand, along with the DUGENA logo in black. It’s just too cool.
DUGENA is a long-established brand with over 100 years of history. Known for being high-quality yet reasonably priced, they are sometimes likened to Seiko in Japan. In other words, they are a fantastic manufacturer that packs top-tier mechanics into an affordable package.
Of course, companies don't make pure silver watches like this anymore; due to technical and cost barriers, these mechanical silver watches are items you can basically only find in vintage form.
In the last few years, dealer prices have really gone up, and more importantly, it’s becoming genuinely hard to find ones that still function properly.
When you consider that famous manufacturers charge many times the price for stainless steel, I highly recommend the option of cherishing an old silver watch and using it for a long time by keeping it overhauled.
