A belted padded coat from 1970s Germany.
It is made of nylon with light padding—perhaps originally intended for skiing?
Despite its sporty design and fabric,
it has a refined femininity that makes it feel just right for the current mood.
The deep navy color and glossy nylon give it an elegant look, and
I was thrilled by the lining pattern, which is full of 70s flair.
I wore a thin wool knit underneath, and
it was incredibly light yet sufficiently warm.
As long as the knit or sweatshirt isn't too thick, you can easily layer it,
so I think you could easily wear it in midwinter if you use thermal base layers.
