70s JAPA leather jacket, made in France

First of all, this rider's jacket is superb.

I sourced it during my buying trip in France starting at the end of June.

It was a little chilly and the jacket looked so cool that I wore it for a few days. Haha.

After returning to Prague, I washed it once and oiled it twice.

It is in fantastic condition. The zippers move smoothly, and it’s flawless.

Part of the pocket lining has been repaired, but it was done carefully and poses no issues for everyday wear. I wore it for those few days in France and had no problems at all. You can continue to wear it hard and tough, just as a rider’s jacket should be worn.

If anything, it’s in a condition where it will really come into its own from here on out. Haha.

The leather quality is very soft and smooth. It’s not lightweight, but it doesn't feel heavy and is comfortable to wear.

The tag is missing, but it’s from JAPA, a French manufacturer known for their leather.

You occasionally see French Air Force leather jackets from this maker, too.

I’ve stocked M65-type jackets from them in the past, but this is the first time I've come across this rider's jacket.

In any case, the shape, size, condition, vibe, and era are all excellent.

Since it’s so cool, why not make it your go-to piece for this year and beyond?

I highly recommend it. It is honestly so difficult to source good rider's jackets!

If it doesn't sell, I’d be happy to keep it for my own collection.
