70s Levi's flares Made in Belgium

I was surprised by how good the fit of these Levi's flare jeans is.

Made in Belgium, circa 1970s.

They look incredibly sharp worn in this size; almost like slacks.

They appear to have been washed only two or three times, and are still nice and crisp.

European Levi's often have some color irregularity, but this pair has a particularly beautiful indigo blue—a bit dark, or perhaps deep.

Actually, the hem on these pants has been altered, sewn neatly to the inside. I personally love this simple, bold, foreign-style approach to hemming.

One benefit is that if you undo the stitching, you can return them to their original length. Plus, as you wear them, the folded-up section will likely create a single faded line where the crease is. Haha.

If you then let them down and re-hem them, you can enjoy that fade line right at the cuff. It’s a bit of a geeky detail, so feel free to ignore me. Haha.

Anyway, I digress—these really are fantastic, and I highly recommend them.
