This is a piece with personal sentimental value, as it was one of the items that got me into European vintage clothing. I remember wearing it with tight jeans back in the day, throwing a leather jacket over it in the autumn, and thinking I looked pretty cool—I found myself grinning just now thinking about it. Haha.
I haven't worn slim-fitting items like this much lately, partly due to getting older and having a bad lower back, but wearing it again today, I thought, "This is great, I want to wear this again." I actually paired it with wide pants today, and they went together perfectly.
It would go with sandals, sneakers, or leather shoes—anything, really.
From back then until now, I’ve always found it attractive that it’s simply cool and relatively affordable.
I mean, clothing from 50 years ago is quite old, isn't it? These kinds of clothes are going to become harder to find and more expensive in the future, so I recommend them for that reason as well.
