A beloved 70s cotton spring jacket.
It feels like it’s been a while. I’ve introduced various leather and colorful items, but this is a type I haven't come across before.
Judging by the text on the care tag, this piece is a rare find from Sweden.
It’s a belted jacket, slightly elongated like a safari jacket, featuring four pockets (the chest ones are faux).
Above all, I’m drawn to the fabric and the stitching. The off-white, firm, and sturdy cotton paired with the distinctly Swedish blue stitching is truly lovely. The metal buttons that match the vibe are also great.
Although soft, the fabric has a nice thickness and structure, creating a wonderful, puffed-up, airy silhouette. The gusset at the back hem is also very appealing. When viewed from the side, it has this puffy, rounded look.
I believe it is likely deadstock. It is clean with no stains or signs of wear.
It embodies that effortlessly cool Scandinavian woman aesthetic. It is absolutely wonderful.
