This is true wide-leg denim.
It’s a super cool pair of 70s denim that features a sharp, snug waist leading into a massive, straight-down wide-leg silhouette.
It is rare to find something this thick, long, and wide. The silhouette is also perfect.
The tag says 30, but it has likely shrunk a bit, so it fits more like a W27.
The indigo is still very vibrant. I bought it at a thrift store and haven’t washed it since.
It’s likely been washed once or twice already, so I don't think it will shrink much more.
I recommend washing it minimally and wearing it in well first.
The original length is quite long; I wore them by simply rolling up the cuffs about 5cm three times.
Having them tailored is a good option, but I think wearing them rolled up with that chunky look at the hem is surprisingly great too.
If the size fits you, this is an impeccable piece.
I’ll say it again—you seriously just don’t find denim that gets this wide. I genuinely want these for myself.
