A 70s wool jacket. It’s just too beautiful.
From the choice of material and pattern to every single detail,
it’s absolutely flawless. Haha.
The condition is so perfect it’s like a brand new piece of clothing. It has a bit of a Miu Miu vibe.
The fabric is a thick, brown wool with a slightly brushed texture,
and it features a plaid lining.
The pockets are made from contrasting suede leather,
a style known as "glove pockets," which is a detail unique to vintage pieces.
The use of a gold zipper is also a nice, sophisticated touch.
Though partially hidden by the large, 70s-style collar,
there is a suede leather patch on the left shoulder that looks like a gun patch.
It’s a reinforcement piece often found on hunting or shooting jackets to protect the shoulder when carrying a rifle.
And even with this design, it buttons like a men’s piece.
It’s a bit of a mystery—could it possibly be a boys' item?
But the pattern and shape are unmistakably women’s, so... it’s a total mystery! Haha.
A special, anonymous vintage piece of unknown origin and purpose.
This is the kind of item you don't come across often even if you're looking for it,
and given the perfect condition, I cannot recommend it enough.
It fits around a size S/M, and since the sleeves are cut quite compactly,
I recommend layering it with a thin top, T-shirt, or turtleneck knit.
I wore it with a Heattech, a thin long-sleeve, and a mohair vest, and I was almost sweating.
It’s definitely warm enough for most days, excluding the coldest parts of winter!
