It's been quite a while since we've had a Burberry coat.
It's a made-in-England piece from the 80s in dark navy, and it even comes with a removable liner. Happy days.
Prices have been soaring for the past few years, making it hard to source them, so I'm thrilled to have this one.
I'm particularly happy that it's navy, and the condition, size, and silhouette are all outstanding.

Whether you wear it open or closed, the collar can be buttoned up, which looks incredibly cool.
When I lived in Japan, I barely wore a coat once a year, but after turning 30, I suddenly found myself wearing them all the time. Maybe I'm just getting old. Haha.
It looks great thrown over a simple cut-and-sew, as shown in the styling photos, but it also looks sharp worn over a leather jacket or a light blouson.
I have this image of stylish European men wearing coats over leather jackets—I see it all the time, especially in Paris. Haha.
