This is an 80s piece from Daniel Hechter, a Parisian designer brand.
The more you look at it, the more you realize it's truly packed with quality. Please take a look at the photos first.
The pattern of the sleeves and back, the belt design on the cuffs and center vent,
it looks like a one-button tailored jacket at first glance,
but if you button the top, it transforms into a work jacket with a small collar,
a stunning jacket that condenses that style into something quintessentially French, simple, and modern.
It was a brand that launched numerous ready-to-wear collections and was on a roll during the fashion revolution of the 60s-80s,
a time when everyday people became free to enjoy fashion,
and whenever I go to Paris to source items, I find myself picking it up without even realizing it.
The black tag looks like it belongs to a sports brand. Lol
