Super cool, simple black corduroy overalls.
Made in France in the 80s. It seems they were intended for outdoor and leisure activities, such as skiing, which was very popular among the wealthy at the time.
However, neither the fabric nor the construction is particularly thick, so these are overalls you can wear with the feel of regular cotton corduroy.
I didn't know this when I lived in Japan, but I get the impression that skiing has always been treated as a rather stylish sport in Europe.
Especially back in the day, I have this image of fashionable young adults from wealthy backgrounds laughing and having a great time together.
Looking at what the women wore back then, they were dressed quite lightly, wearing scarves and styling their hair—they looked so cute. Carrying poles. They looked like they were having so much fun. Haha.
I digressed, but these are cool black corduroy overalls from a French manufacturer called Kessy.
They feel like cotton, but they seem to use fabric from a manufacturer called stretch®︎ that contains a bit of Elasthan, making them incredibly easy to move in.
They are a solid black color with stylish silver zips running down the center and on both pockets.
The shoulder straps are fastened with buttons, so if the length doesn't fit you, you can adjust it by moving the buttons.
