80's Germany leather trousers, full-thigh pockets

80s German sheepskin leather trousers with a supple, substantial feel.

The large, bold pockets on the thighs immediately catch the eye.

It’s a clever idea, really—just triangular pieces of leather riveted onto the base of the trousers.

The design extends around the thighs, giving it a unique look from the sides and back as well.

Furthermore, the way the fabric seams are constructed to look like center presses,

this pair of leather pants is just wonderfully designed, with that playful touch characteristic of the 80s.

And I love this loose fit, too.

It’s a slightly tapered silhouette, but I don't mind the way it bunches up at the feet.

It felt fresh to wear these slightly oversized and thick, letting them drape loosely.

For men, I think anyone with a very slim build could pull these off looking incredibly cool.

I wore them with flip-flops for a languid vibe, but

I think they would look just as great with boots or heels.

I have introduced many pieces of German leather from this era, and

I am always struck by the quality when I touch them.
