A nameless handmade knit from Europe. Likely from around the 80s.
The incredible pattern alone is more than cute enough, but it’s unexpectedly a
blouson style with a zip and buttons.
Talk about putting in the work! Haha.
The way the buttons are attached, the black covered buttons, and the zip. This must have been
incredibly difficult to do by hand. Haha.
And above all, the heavy, thick, low-gauge knit and this crazy pattern.
The color scheme is wonderful too; it really has everything going for it.
It’s rare to find a handmade knit this good.
If a brand were to make this, it would be extremely costly.
This is one piece that made me realize once again just how interesting European knits really are.
When it arrives in your hands, it’ll be even better than you imagined.
I think you’ll feel great wearing it with just a tee underneath.
When I shot the photos, I only had a tee on, but I felt like I could still layer more underneath.
You could wear a down vest over it in midwinter, or even wear a hoodie inside.
