A stunningly beautiful light blue puffer jacket.
The square-block quilting design is also wonderful.
It has just the right amount of padding, large capacity pockets with zips,
and drawcords on both sides that allow you to transform it into a cropped length.
Since the cords are cotton, they create enough friction that you can simply pull them and tie them with ease.
The brand is Luhta, a Finnish label established in 1907,
which produced sportswear in the 80s when the ski industry was rapidly growing.
While it was considered everyday casual wear in their home country of Finland,
it was reportedly sold as ski wear in other European countries.
Because Finland is in Northern Europe where temperatures are exceptionally low, their approach to cold-weather protection is incredibly detailed.
The parts and construction, such as the pocket flaps and Swedish-made drawcords, are very solid, so please take a look at the photos.
I've worn Finnish puffer ski jackets that made their way to Eastern Europe before, and
while it's not quite down, it has more than enough specs for the dead of winter in Japan.
Looking back, I haven't offered many of these puffy styles for women. Highly recommended!
