A cool worker-blue jacket from 80s West Germany.
This is insanely cool. It’s wild.
I’d lose it if I saw someone wearing this on the street. I’d be jealous. lol
It’s got this worker-blue color that looks like something an older guy might wear for work,
paired with that 80s "batwing" inverted triangle silhouette.
The buttons are arranged in a double-breasted style, so if you wear it open, the collar pops out like a biker jacket.
The sleeves also have those long zippers, typical of biker gear. These silver zippers are just the best.
How is it this cool? The fabric, the design, the color—the balance is perfect.
Isn't it cool that it's made entirely from just this one type of blue fabric?
Of course, mixing leather or other materials is luxurious, but this simplicity is just so tasteful.
This is the first time I've come across a piece like this, so I'm getting a little carried away. lol
The material is the one and only Diolen, which I absolutely love. It’s a high-density, crisp cotton-poly blend,
a high-quality fabric that feels slightly crisp and even a bit water-repellent.
You see this occasionally in high-end sports apparel and coats from West Germany and Italy from this era.

I think this fabric is perfect for a spring jacket before the real heat of summer sets in.
It says "rab" on the sleeve, but it doesn't seem to be from that outdoor brand.
I've caught another glimpse of cool West German fashion. It's incredibly stylish!
