A rope chain bracelet that balances ruggedness with delicacy.
I call this a "rope chain" because it reminds me of the Wrangler rope logo.
While you still see thinner versions, often made in Italy,
you rarely find pieces with such large, chunky links.
The blackened, oxidized sections add depth, making for a cool piece of men's silver jewelry.
This is a design I’ve always liked and actively hunt for,
but this was the only one I could find on my recent trip to France.
Despite its heavy, substantial appearance, it feels very light when worn.
It was quite tarnished originally, so I polished it once,
but this caused some verdigris to form in the gaps of the rope links. (Sigh)
This rarely happens with 925 silver,
but it seems to occur in lower-purity silver like 835.
It is only noticeable upon close inspection and doesn't bother me personally,
but please examine the close-up photos carefully. I have priced it lower accordingly!
