It's padded and incredibly warm; it really feels like you're protected.
I wore this as my personal item during the dead of winter after coming to Prague. I recently moved, and because I had so much stuff, I decided to declutter. Haha.
The zipper is broken, so the front can only be closed with the snap buttons, but personally, it doesn't bother me that much.
That said, it's still in a condition that you can wear tough and hard. Priced as a personal item.
