So incredibly cool... A sharp, masculine leather coat. Quilted padding inside.
I sourced this in France last month. At first, I wondered, "Is this Adidas?" but it was definitely an original, and when I tried it on, it looked even cooler than I expected, so I bought it.
Later, while researching the details over dinner, I found out it was actually made by Adidas to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Olympics. Records suggest the '96 Atlanta Olympics marked the 100th anniversary, so I believe it was produced that year or a year or two before or after.
It has such a "bad boy" vibe that I personally love—it's very sexy.
Before it arrived, I had it thoroughly oiled twice. It looks even cooler now. Haha.
I don't think you'll need to oil it again for a while. Just in case, I'll give it one final, light oiling before shipping it out!
The outer leather quality is great, the lining is satin, and the inside is stuffed quite well with padding.
Anyway, the quality is incredible—truly what you'd expect from Adidas.
When it comes to Adidas leather, their Run-D.M.C. models are famous, but I think this is just as cool, and the quality is right up there, too!
The patches on both sleeves show great taste; there's nothing not to like about it. Haha.

It's the perfect outer layer that you can cherish for a long time to come.
Wearing it often, letting it age, oiling it... it's a piece that has an exciting future ahead of it.
