The leather is incredibly soft and supple.
There is no label, but I believe it is nappa leather.
It was extremely soft when I purchased it, but I’ve treated it with oil to make it even more supple.
The lining is a thin, quilted polyester.

There are no missing teeth on the zippers, and they glide smoothly. All snap buttons are also in perfect working order.
Personally, I find these functional aspects to be tougher and better than those on older 70s-era rider's jackets.

The zipper ends on the sleeves are sewn directly into the lining; this appears to be the original design rather than a modification. One side is slightly frayed, but it doesn't affect wear.
