As many of you may already know, this is the Spey jacket from Barbour in the 90s.
It was designed for fishing and outdoor activities. This silhouette is truly cool, isn't it? Haha.
It’s a piece with a nice, well-aged look and is in ideal condition with no damage.
The waxed cotton is in excellent shape, and it’s a relief that there is very little odor or stickiness.
The front features two large pockets on the chest, and there are four pockets on the lining.
What a user-friendly jacket.
Regarding the fit, I believe it would be a good size for almost anyone, provided they are not exceptionally large.
I wore it over a wool knit, but I think you could easily layer it over a very thick sweater or hoodie without any discomfort.
In any case, this jacket is truly hard to find, so I highly recommend it for that reason as well.
On a side note, I own and love this jacket personally, and I find myself wearing it all the time without even realizing it.
Since it was originally intended for rugged use, it is extremely durable and I’m sure it will be a staple in your wardrobe for years to come.
Please wear it hard and often as your everyday casual gear.
