90s EBTEK

EBTEK was a high-performance line that Eddie Bauer released for just a few years in the 90s.

It might be easier to think of it as a streetwear line.

I used to pick these up here and there when I frequently went to the US for buying trips, but I never expected to come across one in Europe.

It’s a line I personally love; I often find that when I pick up a cool 90s windbreaker or fleece and think, "Wow, this is cool! What is this?", it turns out to be from this line.

It also has a great history in the US, where it was widely loved in the street and hip-hop scenes.

As for this particular piece, it’s quite simple (maybe too simple, haha), but as you'd expect from Eddie Bauer, the quality of the nylon, the way the color looks (a beautiful dark navy), and the silhouette are exceptionally cool.

It’s got a normcore, urban style... I love it. Haha.

It features a drawcord at the hem, so you can cinch it in.

There is a hidden zip pocket on the back, and it’s actually packable. Nice.

It’s a stylish piece of gear you'll want to have. Haha.
