The sun was too intense during the photoshoot, making it look faded in the photos, but it is actually a dark navy.
It’s made of soft cotton duck, and since it’s not too thick, it’s incredibly easy to wear.
I’d love to just throw this on over a tee.
The game pocket on the back is faux, but since there are pockets on the front, it’s not an issue.
It also has plenty of capacity, so you don't need a bag—that's one of the charming aspects of a hunting jacket.
Hunting jackets that aren't beige or green are surprisingly hard to find when you're looking for them. This piece is from an 80s-90s Italian brand; it’s a maker I’ve never seen before, but it is exceptionally good.
It’s a plain, understated color, so it might be hard to tell from the photos, but it really struck me when I put it on.
As you wear it, it will develop a nice fade and the fabric will get even softer, likely giving it more character over time.
Personally, I’ve been searching for a solid, dark-colored hunting jacket for the past few years, so I was happy when I came across this one.
It looks plain at first glance, but I highly recommend it.
