The details are more formal than the other black one. Classical and cool.
The virgin wool suit fabric is light and thin, with the perfect weight for the coming season.
It can be dressed up or down. It would also look great thrown over a dress.
Also, this one has firmer shoulder pads than the black version.
I usually dislike and avoid or remove the oversized pads from the 80s, but
these aren't too stiff; they provide just the right structured, dignified silhouette, which is superb.
Especially since I have sloping shoulders, I like this level of padding for the confident look it provides.
This JIL SANDER+ is distinct from the line launched in 2019,
serving as a collectible line from the 80s and 90s when Jil Sander herself was designing.
It seems she pursued a sense of casualness and relaxation that differed slightly from her sophisticated, minimalist main line.
Indeed, the greige color and the feminine, rounded lines evoke a gentleness not typical of the edgy JIL SANDER.
