A classic, yet truly timeless style. I haven't worn it in a while, but it still looks great.
This is the MK3 jacket, which was issued to British Army helicopter crews.
I personally own one and love it; this jacket is irresistible, and it will become your best friend.
The color, which isn't overly military, is also fantastic—an urban shade that looks like a mix of green and gray.
This particular piece was made in 1996. A long time ago, I saw an MK3 from the 70s and looked into what kind of jacket it was. It appears the model was used from the 60s until 2010, making this one a late-production version.
Generally speaking, the buttons and zippers were changed to plastic, padding was added to the utility pocket on the sleeve, and the color changed slightly to a deeper olive.
The material is high-density cotton gabardine, with a texture similar to Ventile.
It features a full cotton lining, and the intricate design details throughout make it such a wonderful garment!
It looks incredibly cool when worn, is easy to handle, and is very comfortable.
It’s not heavy, either—what an urban military piece. Haha.
I’d love to throw it on casually over a favorite tee.
I think these will become harder and harder to find in the future.

Condition - Condition: There is a faint stain on the inside of the collar, but it is not visible when worn. Considering this is an older jacket, it is in excellent condition. Please see the very last photo for reference. Personally, I don't think it's noticeable at all, so it doesn't bother me in the slightest.
