Stunningly cool; this is a piece I sourced in France last July, and I still remember the impact it had on me when I first saw it. I was also excited by the fact that the manufacturer isn't widely known.
It’s likely an Italian down jacket from the 90s. It is absolutely stuffed to the brim with down.
It is surprisingly reversible, and it’s a great design where only the color of the hood changes on each side.
The sleeves feature zippers and are detachable.
The peculiar height of the collar is also cool. I’m happy with the specifications that reliably protect you from the cold.
The body material is a cotton-poly blend. It's a very high-quality fabric. I believe it can handle a fair amount of rain and wind without any issues.
The quality tag lists the down used, and since cases exist where C.P. Company and Prada used the same material, this piece is built exceptionally well.
The colors are so good that it’s hard to decide which side to wear.
A vibrant yet not overbearing yellow and a deep blue.
The way the colors are matched to the body material and silhouette is truly cool.
There are 6 pockets on each side, for a total of 12.
Regarding the condition, as I have noted below,
There are two snap buttons on the bottom-right front pocket (when worn) of the blue side, but one of the inner ones has come off, and a patch has been applied to that area. Please be assured that it is very securely adhered. Also, it is not in a visible area. Otherwise, I think it is in good condition for a vintage down jacket.
This is personal, but I also have several down jackets that I have worn for many years; when a hole opens up, I fix it by adhering a compatible fabric, and since I wear them tough in everyday use, I have had no problems at all, so please rest assured.
This is a supreme piece. It’s the first down jacket in a long time that has really struck a chord with me.
