This is truly the perfect piece of casual everyday wear: a relaxed, dark navy top.
First off, the quality of this velour material is incredible. It’s a cut above the velour we typically imagine.
Above all, it’s remarkably thick. The dealer even described it as a sweatshirt! (laughs) I can certainly understand why, given how substantial the fabric is.
The condition is also fantastic. Since the fabric is so tough, it’s easy to wash and will last for years to come.
The design is simple but has a unique twist; the long length and deep slits create an effortless, relaxed vibe.
The ribbon lace on the sides is also a subtle, lovely accent.
Sonia Rykiel often used this high-quality velour in the 90s, and since I happened to come across another item from the same era elsewhere, I decided to list them together.
The care tag is missing, but that’s a common occurrence with 90s Sonia Rykiel pieces (laughs).
