90s black Levi's 501s.
Made in the UK, which is such a treat!
UK-made 501s always get me excited.
I’m happy simply because they’re rare.
Plus, for some reason, the fit feels exceptionally good. lol
That said, I feel like it’s been a really long time since I’ve seen black Levi's in a women's size.
The size is W27/L30. No shrinkage.
It’s a golden size that will fit anyone from a W26 to W28 perfectly.
At the end of the day, I want as many pairs of black denim as I can get, no matter the cut.
Brand new denim is nice, but it just can't beat vintage denim.
This pair shows almost no signs of wear, so it’s one you can really beat up and break in yourself.
The hairdresser who takes care of me in Prague
always wears 90s black Levi's,
and they’ve become so perfectly hers—they look incredibly cool.
She has Latin roots, so she’s got a bit of a glamorous figure,
and she wears them pretty snug; the waist is all wrinkled and faded to that distinct over-dyed look.
It’s so stylish, I was genuinely moved.
So now, I’m wearing a pair of black Levi's with a mysterious model number I bought in Osaka every single day. lol
Even if it feels a little tight, it will fit better in the long run, which is why I listed it up to a W28.
Levi's denim is meant to be worn out and lived in.
