90s UK military AFV crew vest

A vest that was issued to the crew of the British Army's AFV (Armored Fighting Vehicle) in the 90s.

To start with the specifications, there are two large pockets on the front, and two more pockets inside of those. Please take a look at the photos.

There is also a zipper that runs from the chest around to the back; if you open it completely, there is an even larger hollow space. There are also compartments inside the back and in the innermost layer of the front.

It has a huge capacity—I was honestly surprised. haha

All front pockets can be opened and secured using the side Velcro and black circular fasteners, allowing them to be tucked away. I’ve taken photos of this as well, so please take a look.

As for the fabric, it is a very tough cotton-poly blend. It was so durable that it barely conducted heat even when I used a high-temperature steam iron on it.

The zipper works smoothly as well.

I wore a mid-ounce long-sleeve tee underneath for these photos, but the sizing is such that it could easily accommodate a thick hoodie or knitwear.

You can also adjust the width with the side adjusters,

so please adjust it to match your inner layer.

This is something I’ve personally been looking for for a long time; first of all, it’s incredibly cool, and above all, it’s very convenient. I was even thinking about using it when I go out for buying trips. haha

This is my first time seeing the actual item, and since it’s rarely in circulation, I believe it is truly rare.
