It’s been a while since we last had these in stock; for some reason, they always draw a lot of interest.
This particular piece is different from ones we’ve had in the past, as the large front pockets are two-toned. My guess is that it was either made this way due to a shortage of fabric or it has been repaired.
I’d say it’s subtly rare. Haha.
While you see them in green often, they actually exist in another color, and this time it’s the sand beige version. It’s been worn just the right amount and has faded beautifully—it looks really cool.
This is a vest issued to the crew of British Army AFVs (Armored Fighting Vehicles) in the 1990s.
It’s a vest I personally love and use, and it really is the best.
It’s easy to use and, above all, it looks cool.
To explain the features: there are two large pockets on the front, and two more pockets inside those. Please take a look at the photos.
Additionally, there is a zipper that runs from the chest around to the back; if you open it completely, there is a large cavity. There is also space inside the back and in the very innermost part of the front.
It has a huge capacity; I was surprised. Haha.
All the front pockets can be opened via zipper, folded in, and secured using the side Velcro and the black circular fasteners—it’s a self-contained system. I’ve taken photos of this, so please take a look.
As for the fabric, it’s a very tough cotton-poly blend. It’s so durable that it barely conducted heat even when I used a high-temperature steam iron on it.
All the zippers work smoothly, too!!
I wore a mid-ounce long-sleeve tee underneath for this, but the sizing is such that it could easily accommodate a thick hoodie or knit sweater.
You can also adjust the width with the side adjusters,
so please adjust them to match what you’re wearing underneath.
It’s an interesting piece of military gear that has even served as a design source for various brands.

Condition - There are two side adjusters on the left side, but the upper one on one side is missing. This does not cause any issues with wearing it, and there are no issues with the appearance either.
