Our dealer brought this to Prague along with the 60s Czechoslovak People's Army jacket we received the other day.

90s UK MILITARY AFV CREW VEST INSTAGRAM
Apologies for the long intro, let's get into the details. Haha
This is a vest that was issued to the crews of the British Army's AFV (Armored Fighting Vehicle) in the 90s.
It’s a vest I personally love and use all the time; it’s truly superb.
It’s easy to use, and above all, it looks cool.
It’s really fun to style for the upcoming season.
To start with the specifications, there are two large pockets on the front, with two additional pockets located inside them. Please take a look at the photos.
Also, there is a zipper that runs from the chest around to the back; if you open it completely, there is an even larger hollow space. There is also space inside the back panel and on the innermost part of the front.
It has a huge capacity, which surprised me. Haha
The front pockets are designed with a system where you can open the zippers and fold the flaps in, securing them with the side Velcro and the black circular fasteners. I’ve taken photos of this as well, so please check them out.
As for the fabric, it is a very tough cotton-poly blend. It was so durable that even when I used a high-temperature steam iron, it didn't conduct much heat at all.
All the zippers work smoothly!!
I wore a mid-ounce long-sleeve tee underneath for this shoot, but the sizing is generous enough that you could easily layer it over a thick hoodie or knitwear.
You can also adjust the width with the side adjusters,
so please adjust it to suit your inner layers.
It's a fascinating piece of military history that often serves as a design source for modern brands.
This is not an item that we can easily restock in the future, so the price reflects its value as a garment.
