It's been way too long since we've had this vest.
Among the many vintage military items out there, this is one of my absolute favorite series.
First off, this vest has so many pockets, and so much space to tuck things away. Haha
It’s a vest that was issued to the crew of the 90s British Army AFV, or Armored Fighting Vehicle.
I personally love wearing this piece; it really is the best.
It’s practical, and above all, it’s cool. It’s perfect for the upcoming season.
To start with the specs, there are two large pockets on the front, and two more pockets tucked inside those. Please take a look at the photos.
Also, there is a zipper that runs from the chest all the way around to the back; when fully opened, it reveals an even larger cavity. There’s extra space inside the back panel and on the very inside of the front, too.
All the front pockets can be opened and secured inside using the side Velcro and the black circular fasteners. I've included photos of this as well, so please take a look.
As for the fabric, it’s a very tough cotton-poly blend. It’s so durable that it barely even transferred heat when I used a high-temperature steam iron on it. All the zippers move smoothly as well.
I styled it here with a hoodie underneath, but the sizing is generous enough that you could easily layer a thicker sweater beneath it.
You can adjust the width using the side adjusters to suit whatever you're wearing underneath.
