925 Byzantine

A powerful Byzantine chain bracelet.

It looks incredibly cool.

The fluidly moving Byzantine chain is

one of the oldest types of chainmail in the world.

Each oval link is assembled by hand,

creating a unique, beautiful, and solemn pattern.

While I previously introduced a high-density, thin Byzantine chain,

this is an open type with more space between the links,

making it a bolder, more substantial chain with a puffed appearance.

It is made of 925 silver in Arezzo, Italy—a region famous for silver production

and renowned for producing wonderful accessories with large parts and bold designs.

This is the first time I have seen a piece of this caliber myself and been able to acquire it.

The condition of the clasp is also excellent.

The length is just right, and I highly recommend it as a unisex piece.

Given its intricate craftsmanship and the generous amount of silver used,

it is said that wealthy gentlemen have worn these as a symbol of status for a long time.

Wearing this with a vintage shirt and shorts

would make for an incredibly cool summer style—I highly recommend it.

I have polished the silver once for maintenance,

but I personally like a slightly tarnished look, so I have avoided over-polishing it.
