The heavy metal material has a substantial, solid appearance,
making this chain necklace look bold around the neck.
It features an exquisite length that can be worn by anyone, regardless of gender.
Because it resembles the anchor chain used to tie boats
to a dock, it is often called an anchor chain,
or sometimes referred to as marine or maritime style.
I have often come across this motif, especially in France,
but I have never seen one this thick, especially as a necklace.
I first learned of AGATHA from a fleeting line in one of Ai Yazawa’s manga,
where it was mentioned as a brand a character aspired to own. Haha.
It really was the object of desire for girls in the mid-90s.
This is a uniquely creative piece of jewelry typical of 90s France,
which developed metalworking techniques that were more affordable than silver.

How to care
Generally, wiping it gently with a soft towel after wear will keep it looking nice. If it becomes dull or dark, please polish it with a commercially available silver polishing cloth. Even one from a dollar store works perfectly!
