Edwardian lace cotton petticoat W26

An Edwardian-era cotton petticoat. Acquired in France.

It features the delicate, lightweight cotton characteristic of this period, with needle lace adorning the hem.

The generous gathers at the waist allow it to flare out beautifully with every movement.

In excellent condition overall, with almost no tears or damage, including the lace at the hem.

Although it is a petticoat, I always wear it on its own with shorts or bloomers underneath.

The material is wonderfully cool and perfect for a Japanese summer. It also looks lovely layered under an oversized tee or top.
