Art Deco cigarette case

1930s Art Deco cigarette case.

This is a vintage piece from Czechoslovakia, roughly 90 years old.

It features a tortoiseshell-like marble brown base,

accented by stylish, linear red and gold lines.

Personally, I just love the minimalist design of Art Deco.

While cigarette cases are overwhelmingly made of silver or metal,

I find these colorful ones to be quite charming.

The condition is excellent, and the elastic inside has retained its elasticity and remains in beautiful shape,

so you can use it right away.

It might even be the perfect excuse to switch to hand-rolled cigarettes,

making for a fun change in your daily life.

We each carry our own cigarette cases, and

it’s actually helped us save money and cut down on smoking too! (Maybe?!)

Material - Material: Exact material unknown, but likely brass

Size - Size: 8cm × 9.5cm. I’ve included a photo with a short cigarette inside for reference. It looks even cuter when displayed.

Condition - Condition: Overall, there are some small scratches and peeling of the enamel, but considering it’s a 90-year-old cigarette case, I hope you’ll enjoy these signs of age as part of its character!
