A Barbour Beaufort hunting-style jacket.
It’s rare to find one that isn't the classic oiled cotton Barbour is known for; this is a cotton and polyurethane blend. It's my first time encountering this fabric.
The look, feel, and comfort are like 100% high-density cotton, but the addition of polyurethane makes it appear to have extra water repellency.

I don't carry many Beauforts, but it's a model I really like.
The slightly longer length is classically British. It gives off a cool UK gentleman vibe.
Also, as you can see in the first photo, the passport-sized hidden pocket behind the placket is a nice touch.
Barbour became popular in the misty, rainy UK for its practicality, and while this version is non-waxed, it still offers water resistance.
It's a wonderful jacket that has been modernized while staying true to the brand's legacy.
I can recommend this to anyone, man or woman, who is hesitant about waxed cotton.
It's actually very practical, durable enough for heavy use, and has plenty of pocket capacity, making it perfect for city wear.
I want to wear it constantly, get it dirty, and really break it in.
