This is the best piece of clothing I found in Berlin.
It’s a piece I love that feels quintessentially Berlin—full of playfulness and a sense of rhythm.
All of the buttons on the front and back can be opened and closed, allowing you to change how you wear it to suit your mood and style.
Surprisingly, it’s from a brand called BLAAK that is made in Japan.
I tried looking up the details, but found absolutely nothing... Given the intricacy of the details and the original construction, like the fact that the BLAAK name is engraved on every single button, I suspect it must have been a very avant-garde and unique designer.
It’s rare to find something with so little information out there.
If anyone happens to know more about it, I would love for you to let me know.
By the way, the owner of the shop in Berlin where I bought this is a very sharp, intense woman who always keeps Berlin techno blasting in her store, and she told me this piece had been hanging on a hanger for so long that the shoulders tore.
Personally, I think this actually looks quite good as it is.
In fact, it would look cool even if the damage spreads. I hope you enjoy it as is.
