First black moleskin in a while.
A classic coverall-style jacket you just feel like wearing once autumn arrives.
This particular piece has no damage, but it’s been worn in nicely. It’s also slightly sun-faded all over.
You can really tell it was well-loved.
The fading around the arms is quite pronounced and looks cool, and the moleskin fabric has softened up as well.
Rather than the tough, stoic vibe you might imagine, I think it looks coolest just thrown on roughly over your usual outfit.
You can wear a hoodie underneath, pair it with nylon pants—it’s surprisingly versatile.
Why? Because it’s an incredibly simple jacket. Haha.
But still, vintage French black moleskin really is in a league of its own.
It’s a shame that those purchasing online won't be able to hold it and try it on in person, but it’s truly a timeless, classic piece.
I usually wear it with a pin on the collar.
It’s also become one of those vintage items that’s getting harder to source, so for anyone who doesn’t own one yet and has been looking for a jacket like this, I highly recommend it.
