While I rarely come across Bottega Veneta silver jewelry,
upon seeing this bracelet, I was truly moved by the technique used to render the brand’s signature intrecciato (woven leather) pattern in silver.
The realistic weave and texture of the leather, the subtle fluctuations and irregularities that suggest layering, and the shadows created by the oxidation. It is magnificent. Truly magnificent.
There are many pieces of Bottega intrecciato jewelry, but while many simply have the intrecciato pattern carved in a grid-like fashion, the level of detail here shows a level of commitment that stands in a class of its own.
Furthermore, it is rare for this bracelet to be an ID plate type; the plate features a star mark reminiscent of a sun or compass, surrounded by a design that looks like rivets. Together with the intrecciato chain that also appears like rope, it is packed with a sexy, masculine essence.
