British Army PCS Thermal Smock

A pullover jacket from the British Army's modern masterpiece, the PSC (Personal Clothing System).

The lining is made of highly insulating microfleece, keeping you warm—or perhaps "not cold" is a more accurate way to put it.

Developed for cold regions, the outer shell is made of highly water-repellent ripstop nylon.

It works as an inner layer in midwinter, and you can wear it on its own as the weather warms up.

I personally own one myself, and I find myself wearing it more in the spring than in the winter.

A hood is tucked away inside the collar, and there are three pockets on the front. These pockets are incredibly useful. All of them feature water-resistant zips.

The center front pocket doubles as a packable pouch, making it very convenient to carry around. It also has zips on both sides, making it easy to put on and take off.

Military gear really has a lot of budget put into it, doesn't it? Haha.

I suppose you could say it really shows a nation's power. Haha.

Four or five years ago, you used to see them relatively often, but opportunities to find them have decreased recently.

It's an item that is rising in price, and with the recent outdoor boom, I think it will become even more highly valued, so I think now is a great time to pick one up.
