A British Army DPM smock for polar regions, likely from the 90s.
This is a DPM (Disruptive Pattern Material) smock issued to units like the SAS (Special Air Service).
The front features characteristic pockets, along with pockets on both arms.
It uses a double YKK zipper. I personally love it. Haha.
And above all, the hood has a built-in wire. The thick wire allows you to adjust the shape as you like.
It also comes with a drawstring to tighten the hood.
The lining includes one large inner pocket and two pockets on the back.
It is also equipped with drawstrings at the waist and hem.
The functionality is amazing. Apparently, the inner chest pocket was discontinued in later models.
A dealer told me that a long time ago. Haha.
The construction is truly excellent.
The material is 100% cotton.
It is made of such high-density cotton that it has a texture similar to Ventile.
To describe it another way, it feels like cotton satin.
The fabric is also excellent.
It's not heavy at all. I think you'll really enjoy wearing it in the coming season.
I think it will look great on rainy days too.
Anyway, it's cool, so I highly recommend it.
