A Goggle jacket from the C.P. Company Autumn/Winter 2004 launch.
First, let me explain the details!
The color is a deep navy.
The material is interesting; it's 90% linen and 10% nylon, processed with polyurethane.
I know that might be hard to picture, so I'll give you my impressions: when I first bought it, I didn't even know what the material was. It was a texture I’d never felt before. Haha.
Imagine a linen that is incredibly durable and firm, yet super soft. It lacks the light, sheer feel typical of linen entirely; it’s hard to describe, but in any case, it’s a cool material. I’ve included plenty of photos, so please take a look. I think seeing it with your own eyes is the easiest way to understand.
It also comes with a removable liner. A nice bonus.
The liner is solid black quilting with light padding—very thin. By the way, it has a chest pocket. It looks perfectly stylish worn on its own, and I’ve included photos of that as well, so please take a look.
As for how it attaches, the liner has aluminum buttons that fit into holes inside the jacket, making it easy to remove. The cuffs are also designed to be securely fastened. (This is another great detail.)
There is one missing button, but you can wear it without any issues, and there are no problems whatsoever with how it attaches or how it feels when worn, so please rest assured.
Lastly, two things: the Goggle jacket hood can be removed via a zipper.
There are drawstrings at the waist, hem, and hood so you can cinch them.

I actually own this same Goggle jacket myself. I used to dislike linen clothing and didn't own a single piece, but after encountering this C.P. linen, I grew to love it—it was the first linen item I ever owned, so it’s very memorable to me. Haha.
To put it simply, my first thought was, "Wow, this linen is amazing, it's so cool!" Haha.
The fabric is a substantial linen-nylon blend with a dropped-shoulder silhouette, making it a very relaxed piece to throw on. The two pockets on the waist have decent capacity and gussets, so they’re quite convenient. The chest pocket is split into two; I still don't know what I should put in there. Haha.
The size is about a men's XL. Even though it's big, I always feel like it doesn't look *too* big when I wear it.
Beyond the design, it’s easy to use heavily—it's just one of those pieces you find yourself constantly reaching for. It’s just cool, which is what’s best about C.P.
It was a long explanation, but this is a great jacket whose quality you’ll truly appreciate once you receive it, put it on, and head out into the city. Highly recommended, liner included.
