C.P. Company AW'00 cotton corduroy trouser.

It’s almost too normcore, but you’ll just think, “This is the best!”

This comes from the "RELAX" line, launched by Moreno Ferrari in 2000. It lives up to its name. Haha.

Although it was an AW launch, you can wear these year-round; the weight is actually light enough that you might even wonder if it was meant for spring and summer.

This is the first time we’ve had this in stock at TOTO, but it’s one of the C.P. series I personally love and wear regularly. I’ve always worn the tops, but this is the first time I’ve encountered the trousers.

When I put them on, I thought, “Ah, I see.”

They are so comfortable—truly RELAX, just as the name suggests. Haha.

Made of soft, high-quality fine-wale cotton corduroy with a thin cupro lining.

A relaxed silhouette with pleats. It’s great; it has a laid-back, mild sexiness to it.

The size is about a W31. They were big on me, so I cinched them tight with a belt.

It really is a great silhouette—wide, but not too wide—it’s just right.

We’ve stocked several pieces by Moreno in the past, and while they may look unassuming at first glance, they are all excellent items.

I also love that they don't scream for attention.

It’s only something that the wearer and those in the know would recognize, but these are truly great clothes.

It gets me excited when I come across these kind of understated, great C.P. pieces.
