A wonderful 1980s German women's blouse.

Superb fabric.

The dull orange and khaki textile features

a rare, unique, and botanical all-over print that, when looked at closely, depicts a series of doves and lions.

A true find.

It has a slight sheen and a smooth texture like silk-mimicking viscose,

making it cool and comfortable to wear even in summer.

The double-breasted buttons and rounded, upright stand collar are elegant.

And then there are these puff sleeves.

They are batwing sleeves set like raglan sleeves,

with plenty of pleats at the shoulders and cuffs for a beautiful sense of volume.

These sleeves are incredibly cute.

It also comes in a rare, small size 36,

and the clean, non-frumpy silhouette is superb.

To top it off, it is in near-new condition.

When you start being particular about size, design, silhouette, and material, I find it really difficult to come across a truly great blouse,

but this is a wonderful blouse that has it all.
