A beautiful handmade women's jacket from the Czechoslovakia era.
The textile is wonderful. I was instantly smitten.
It features a grey jacquard fabric with floral patterns in orange and yellow,
with silver threads woven throughout that give it a subtle, dull shimmer.
It’s not flashy, but rather has a refined, understated glimmer that adds a touch of glamour.
I bought this from a very stylish grandmother I met in the Czech countryside, who told me it was handmade for her by her own mother.
There are buttons on the inside of the lapels and the front placket,
a thoughtful detail designed to ensure it looks clean and beautiful when worn.
It’s absolutely packed with details that make my heart skip a beat.
It’s not a crisp, structured piece like a standard tailored jacket;
it’s a soft, light jacket that you can even fold up small.
