Wool trousers from the 1950s Canadian Army. Brand new and unused.
Made of high-quality, sturdy wool that is soft and not heavy.
It's not very itchy, so it seems like it will be perfect for the coming season.
It has a solid, straight-leg, luxurious appearance. It's really cool.
The vibe is incredible, haha. It's not just about the vibe, though; it's also very practical.
It features belt loops and a total of four pockets: one on the thigh, two at the waist, and one on the back. The front is a button fly.
All suspender buttons are still present.
I initially thought this design might be British Army, but the mil-spec confirms it is Canadian Army. At the time, the Canadian Army was part of the Allied forces and had close ties with the British Army since the Churchill era; it's well-known that the Canadian Army was deployed to Europe during WWII, so I think that connection is why the clothing details are so similar.
Regardless, these pants are truly fantastic.
