A German work jacket from around the 60s.
The color is a muted, deep blue. It’s a very classy shade.
Made of pique fabric.
Pique is often seen in pants or hunting gear, but as a work jacket,
it's quite rare; I feel like you don't come across them that often.
This one is a tailored style that can be buttoned all the way up.
I personally really love the soft, substantial feel of German pique.
When I took the photos, the temperature was in the single digits, and I was just wearing it over a tee, so I felt a little cold.
I thought to myself, "Oh, so pique is actually somewhat warm!" haha
I don't usually have the chance to wear it, so it was a new discovery. haha
So, I think you can wear it in the coming season depending on how you layer underneath.
As for the sizing, I felt there was still enough room to fit a thick layer inside.
